New Content

I have also decided that since this is ramblings of a pregnant woman, I can add stuff about my homeschooling as well. At some point, it may branch into a different blog, but for now . . .

I have found a new website, with what seem like very good prices on curriculum. Check it out.

Still Growin' . . .

Just got home from the ultrasound and subsequent errands. Had a different tech today. She, I'm sure, did a fine job, but did not have the outgoing attitude or cheerful bedside manner of my usual tech. Several times, it seemed like she was trying to get pictures of my spine instead of Bella - she pushed so hard. Oh well...

Isabella is now approximately 5 lbs. 1 oz - give or take. Due date remains unchanged. Nothing out of the ordinary it seems. :) Which to me, is good news.

Like I said, the tech this time was not very, umm... forthcoming with information - so the weight it about all I got out of her. Didn't get to see hair or much of her face this time. She does have the tendency to cover it with her arms though. Anyway, have to go back for, what should be, the final ultrasound there in 3 weeks. Please keep praying that Isabella is healthy in all ways and she will be born on time. :)

Bye for now.

Update

Last Wednesday, I began my weekly MBPP to keep track of the amnio fluid and Isabella's heart tones. Both last weeks and yesterdays were right on track. I have 14cm of fluid and her heart is steady around 145 bpm. That is until the CNM took a vibrator to my belly without warning. LOL - that got Bella moving. At least her heartrate, which immediately shot up to around 165. Poor babe - scared her too.

Well, we are on our 34th week. Ultrasounds still show due date to be around Sept. 7th - so that's what we're stickin with. She is officially head down. Now we just have to see if she flips a few more times or not :)

Tomorrow I go in for my more thorough ultrasound at the perinatal center in O'Fallon. I'll get to see how much she's grown and they usually tell me about how much she weighs. From the stretching etc - I'm guessing around 5 lbs. Wish I could know how long she is - but they are just too curled up for that guesstimate. Last ultrasound showed that she had plenty of hair already. :) Too cute - hoping to see more tomorrow.

Btw - for those wondering why I am having so many ultrasounds, it's not an elective decision to be sure. It's because I have an SUA pregnancy. They want to keep close track on Bella's growth and also the fluid and placenta closer to the end. Questions? Well, comment and I'll see if I can find an answer. :)

Well, bye for now.
